More of the Filipino treats after the last delicious one.
Sponge cake with a layer of sweet, not exactly sure what but I liked it enough. Their spongecakes are drier than Bengawan Solo's (as a yardstick) but somehow, the dry cake and sweet layer were rather complimentary.
Although grotesque looking because of the indigo shade, this kueh with coconut shavings was delectable. Not as dense as the usual Peranakan kueh, this is looser. Another nice one.
Kabayan once again surprises me with another peek into Filipino desserts. With so pocket friendly prices, I'm game for Filipino food already, anyone?
