I'm not sure about the other JB trippers, what is the main driving force apart from cheap and good food? Each visit leaves me enthralled - there is so much across the causeway offers in terms of nostalgic eats. For that reason, I wish these could stay on forever.
Restoran Kin Hua is one of those places.
Their idea of open concept is completely out in the open. All eyes on the toaster and those buns.
And in that flurry of activity, they get slapped on with butter and a copious amount of kaya - mamma mia.
Looking alot flatter than the last delicious attempt but I am still a huge fan of this dripping wet morning toast. There is just something about grilled buns and kaya that makes me proud to be South East Asian.
Coffee served in such porcelain cups are truly a thing of the past - or in Singapore, we have to pay through our noses for the equivalent. Coffee stained cups - so old school!
Liquid gold, the caffeine addicts all muse in varying degrees of darkness.
As black as midnight, this lethal one actually packs a buttery finish - thanks to that gorgeous chunk of butter. Well, who needs fancy frappes and ice long blacks when this ah ma got it all right.
RM 15 for all of the above, screams cheap cheap and so cheap, still.
