The taste buds have been spoilt by Yong's Teochew Kueh and Ah Yee's Soon Kueh so much so, anything lesser is deemed lacklustre. I have to say the most unfortunate comparison came about for this particular stall at Tiong Bahru. Dense kueh with fillings lacking in flavour and chilli paste that was boring, all of mediocrity.
