Satay Bee Hoon @ 85 Fengshan Center

At first glance, this stall is not attractive; ingredients scattered haphazardly, entirely one man show. The uncle works with much haste, putting in the dish within minutes.

Piping hot Satay Beehoon ($3). A generous portion of blanched beehoon drizzled in a thick tasty peanut sauce with chockfuls of ingredients. The generosity of the seller resonates throughout the dish, from the thick slices of liver, pork, bean sprouts and tau kwa to the gravy filled with peanuts...the taste is just right, not too sweet nor salty. Loved it! Far exceeds the expectations and well, it deserves the queues of Meng Kee's.
