This had to be my first stay in Causeway Bay, somehow I find the area too chaotic and touristy. Hotel Pennington by Rhombus, a stone's throw away from Regal Causeway Bay and the major plus point then is the complimentary shuttle from Hong Kong station! Certainly works for me when dragging the luggage is concerned.
Reception is on the 4th floor with a very cosy sit down area as well as a bar counter.
I found great amusement in the mini table games they offered - billards and table soccer.
Our studio apartment sized room - so very compact coupled with a smart design. Bed was firm and comfortable though one major grouse were their limp pillows.
I particularly loved the open concept toilet that came with sliding doors for more privacy.
Oh and their toiletries smell amazing!
Though there were 3 rooms on a floor, the walls were solid enough to shield off street noises and sounds from our neighbours. We loved our stay and actually fell in love with Causeway Bay.
One major pluspoint, we saved on transport with the complimentary shuttle from Hong Kong station that dropped us off at Regal Hongkong Hotel, just across the street from Hotel Pennington by Rhombus. Score!
