Tip Top Curry Puffs - The start of a new era

Special thanks to Tip Top for the curry puffs!

Tip Top Curry Puff started humbly in a Ang Mo Kio coffee shop in 1979. Founder Mr Looi and his wife May felt that curry puffs would be a good snack offering for the residents living around the area. With the confidence that Tip Top had a superior curry puff, the couple partnered with ABR Holdings Ltd, to expand their business beyond Ang Mo Kio. Today Tip Top has 5 outlets, including a café. Many more outlets have been planned for 2015, starting with Seletar Mall and Changi Airport Terminal 3 (Transit) in January.

Tip Top’s Chicken Curry Puff ($1.40)

Made with 18 specially handpicked  spices, their take on this classic favourite is a tasty treat! Albeit on the sweet side, it was great with kopi and even kaya toast.

Sardine Puff ($1.40)

For the non-spicy fans, this is another hearty alternative.

Nonya Beef Rendang Puff ($1.40)

I thought this was a brilliant creation, marrying one of my favourite curries with their crispy puff pastry.

Beyond curry puffs, Tip Top also offers a range of snack products and local delights at its various outlets.

Tip Top will also have a temporary booth in Takashimaya Orchard basement from 26th December 2014 to 7th January 2015. During this fair, they will be offering puffs at a promotional S$1.00 per puff, whilst stocks last.
