Praelum is just one of the many watering gastro holes along Duxton Hill. One too many I think and most of the diners or rather drinkers were there for the wines than food. I suppose that already made our intent different.
Bread and unsalted piped butter to try to kickstart the meal.
Beef U.S. Angus Cubes ($26)
Caramelized onions
Definitely tapas material and I thought this was tasty enough to be served as a mains. Portions are questionable though.
Greens for the Coq Au Vin, just a bowl of almost withered greens.
Coq Au Vin ($24)
Garlic Butter Mash
Overnight chicken since there was a stale taste and this was served lukewarm. Major flukes in this and it was not enjoyable.
I may head back for the wines but definitely not the food.
