Thanks to Michelle and Imen for the invite!
Seasons Bistro replaces TGIFridays at Triple One Somerset which makes its location very central - barely 5 minutes walk from Somerset Station and you enter into the land of Seasons - quite nearly. Conceptualized with the consumer in mind, diners are treated to a year of seasonal creations made with the season's best and freshest. Menu looks set to change quarterly but hot favourites are likely to remain.
I can totally imagine myself here on a Friday night with a drink in hand.
Something about the lights that I love so much.
Chalkboard specials.
Bubbly anyone? Moscato over brunch has to be godsent.
Grilled Portobello ($16)
St Maure Terroir, tomatoes, beans, candied walnuts, pickled onions, bacon crisp and red wine vinagrette
I love my mushrooms and love them more when they are the focus of the dish. Juicy things that make going meatless not so bad afterall!
Seared Yellowfin Tuna Taco ($14)
Avocado mayonnaise, pickled onions, crispy shallots, cotija cheese and cilantro jalapeno watercress salad on tortilla shell
The seared yellowfin tuna tasted more like pork actually in this bed of colours and crunchy tacho.
Montreal and Lox ($15)
Toasted bagels, cream cheese, capers, onions, smoked salmon, tomatoes and greens
My favourite dish with the smoked salmon, cream cheese and bagels! For once, the smoked salmon portions were more than enough for the bagel.
The Lumberjack ($18)
Eggs, smoked bacon, sausage, homefries, a pancake and maple
This has to be the best of many worlds - sausage, bacon and pancakes. I found this hearty and great for sharing and a lovely combination of savoury and sweet.
Season's Red Velvet Cheesecake ($10)
This has to be a first for me. Red velvet in a cheese cake that was dense but so rich in flavour.
I have found another place to head for brunch and it's really affordable. A slice of New York in Singapore?

I went there for dinner recently. Didn't like the food nor their signature poutine. Pretty pricey too.
