Ventilation along Clifford Centre is pretty bad – walking out without smelling like what you ate is nearly impossible. Platypus test kitchen is yet another.
Place your order at the counter, take a number and wait for food to be served. It really is as simple as it sounds.
Handmade Meatballs ($8.90)
Tender meatballs in pomodoro sauce
Garlic Shrimp ($5.90)
Prawns sautéed in olive oil, garlic and finished with parsley
Decent one once again, well marinated crystal prawns with garlic flakes!
Wild Rocket Salad ($5.90)
Wild Rocket tossed in aged balsamic vinaigrette
Baby Greens and Crispy Duck Salad ($10.50)
Crispy duck confit, baby greens, orange vinaigrette
I was sold on crispy duck confit and well, was
introduced to a different interpretation of duck confit. Fried to a
crisp, the duck shreds were so fine that you barely taste it. Baby
greens were a tad course – I’ve honestly never had these
sprigs of greens before, those with curly wurls of tendrils sprouting
out. I already make my salad sound like a green monster. The orange
slices and tomatoes did give this a sweet finish though. Not one of the
bestest eaten, neither was it worst – starting
off earthy and ended up decent.
Ask me not why this meal ended up picking
everything else but their signature pasta which every other table
spotted. Perhaps next time!

I had the worst cod ever here. So fishy! + really bad service encountered. This place is on my black list.
