I could not resist a revisit to Madam Kwan's for a dose of Malaysian food, in particular their famed nasi lemak. Ordered exactly the same dishes as the last!
Menu did not change.
Carnation to light up the table!
Table of gluttony, as always.
Nasi Lemak
The same proportions, the same hearty ingredients...did not like the chicken parts we were given - a mix of thigh and breast meat though other tables had a full complete drumstick or breast meat! What luck! Nonetheless still adored the flavourful curry chicken, tantalizing achar, spicy ikan billis paste and fish floss! A plate so hearty and delicious...sedap! Would have loved to try their Seafood Nasi Lemak instead of this again but next time!
Satay
I forgot that chicken tasted better than beef, I still went for the platter. Particular mention goes towards the ketupat - a fragrant and pleasant coconut fragrant milky aftertaste.
Chicken still triumphs beef satay. Peanut sauce was a tad watery but still delish.
Still as satisfied with Madam Kwan's, until the next visit!
