Still high from the splendid display by Mon Chou Chou, I naively thought it had to be Japan and her sponge cake and cream that made their swissrolls so outstanding. Doing a double take with cream roll, we tried out Wabisa next.
Always so delicately wrapped. I wonder if the Japanese get flabbergasted with our haphazard packaging when they first step foot here.
In comparison with Mon Chou Chou, Wabisa's fell flat.The sponge was obviously soggy towards the bottom while maintaining its stature for the rest of the roll.Not a fan of the sponge nor cream.
