I chanced upon this along the Shinsaibashi shopping street a stone's throw away from Dotonburi. Lured by the fragrance of the croissant store next door, I stopped right at the steps of Hara Donuts. Apologies to the pastry shop!
Signage being splattered with rain drops...walking in the rain, anyone?
Once again, wishing I had time for a cuppa up stairs.
Neatly packed for takeaway.
Wrapped like sweets.
Original and White chocolate donut
Loved the dense texture of the donut which is similar to PopDoh at Takashimaya's basement, only these were fragrant as well. Made with soy milk and okara, these tasted better than Tonyu Soy Donuts at Nishiki Market.
Well worth a try!
From 130 Yen each.
