A Waffle Story: Elisabeth

Mmmmmore waffles along the way!

Located very near Grand Place, Elisabeth's arguably the most chichi of the lot of waffle places we visited. By now, queues are almost mandatory..the further you are from the tourist attractions...the shorter the queues are. As such, queues are by no means a yardstick of the quality of food...or so I took so long to decipher.

Chocolate coated waffles, anyone?

2€ later, the warm waffle without any topping was shoved into my hands. As I sunk the pearlies into what would be the last waffle, this was too soft and sweet. Between mouthfuls of the last waffle, I thought of the fantabulous one and wished I had another 7 of it, instead of experimenting with the rest.

Being the last of the 7 waffles consumed in a span of 2 days..was I sick of Waffles by the time we hit this shop? Nope, still not...I would have gobbled a couple more in fact. I still drool, typing these entries out...waffles no matter how bad, somehow taste better there than locally.
