Ah Balling in Peanut Soup like almond/black sesame/peanut cream has a certain irresistible charm in any hawker center for me. It could very well be the childhood so the eyes light up whenever any stall is in sight. Est in 1947, this stall has also found its way into the green book's "Best of" list.
Drool over your choice of soup (peanut/ginger) and ah ballings (Yam, Red Bean, Peanut, Kaya..if confused, just select all). I headed for the traditional. The soup could have been better less sweet. Otherwise, the chewy smooth glutinous rice balls with wholesome fillings were gratifying.
