See's Candies hail for the US of A, and owned by Warren Buffet. That is just trivia for you.
Tucked in a corner at The LandMark, See's candies is not quite every child's candy playground. No doubt it is a candy store and a smiley salesperson who offered the day's treats upon entrance. Seems like an American way of doing business, the same happened at Krispy Kremes in Korea too.
We savoured the complimentary nut chews, no strings attached. Even when we asked to taste the chocolates, the server was still accommodating though I admit I was more obliged to purchase. I had a go at the Granny Smith chocolate, white chocolate with apple pie filling, too empowering the apples were. The sis did not think too highly of the dark chocolate either.
6 pieces cost HKD 114.
Polar Bear Paw® Peanuts and vanilla caramel
Scotch Kiss Marshmallow and caramel
Divinity Puff Whipped egg whites, vanilla cream and English walnuts with shredded coconut
Cashew Brittle Hard toffee with cashews and shredded coconut
Forgot entirely what these were but that is the whole white chocolate collection for you. The white chocolate is a little sweet but smooth finish its got. See's has mostly caramel with nuts as fillings, hence the chewy sticky texture.
