Intercontinental Hongkong was our choice for accommodation in Hong Kong, overlooking the Hong Kong harbor but that probably did not make a difference since our hotel was facing the other direction.
Welcome amenities that were refilled too!
Our room came with a walk in wardrobe, study desk and...
A huge toilet!
With both standing shower and tub options.
Our evening cap of welcome teas from their selection.
The night view of the property! Pretty gorgeous I must say though I am not a fan of its location if public transport is the way to go. The flight of stairs and the number of times I went up and down just to access the MTR is no joke. Hopefully with the new mall opening next year, it gets a tad more happening!
Breakfast affairs overlooking the half blocked views of the harbor. Crazy busy crowds at breakfast but I must say the restaurant handled it well. We did not have to wait longer than 10 minutes inspite of it operating at full capacity.
The mandatory egg station which is always the most popular live station in any buffet and I wonder why - I guess it is no longer an apple a day keeps the doctor a day but an egg?
The whole array of Asian and western selections to pick from and with the crowd it is a no brainer that the buffet line was perpetual.
Leaving only the pastries and bread really empty.
I had to have my bagels after spotting them and in two DIY ways - cream cheese smoked salmon and peanut butter too! Both were delicious.
Toddler friendly options that fed him well enough to grant us enough peace for breakfast!
Disneyland definitely pampered me over that bowl of memorable beef brisket noodles and this trio of meatballs and chicken soup noodle was just A-Okay.
Because it came in a heart shaped Le Creuset ramekin.
I just had to cave into a scoop of these hand made yogurts over the counter.
