Before Temptations L'Artisan Cake Atelier took on such a polished cake shop name, it was humbly known as Temptations Cakes. I grew up with them and once walked down memory lane with their lemon cakes.
I dressed up the cake with a Precious Moments topper!
6 inches ($78) was going for half price on Groupon and I took the gamble - there are just too many rainbow cakes to attempt and I am not about to give up chasing the rainbow.
The layers are not as evenly defined, too bright for comfort but it was mildly sweet, moist and the whipped cream was delicious.
