Michaelangelo's @ Chip Bee Gardens

Michelangelo's at Chip Bee is one of those restaurants that have been around for a reasonably long time.

The oddest thing about the decor is, there is a truncated picture of the Colosseum that goes up the ceiling right smack in the restaurant.

Christmas reds all over for the festive period ahead.

Seafood Spaghetti ($36)

A saucy pasta dish with prawns, calamari and dory fish. Noodles were cooked too soft, not quite the seafood pasta I was looking forward to.

Spinach and ricotta tortellini with sautéed mushroom, spinach and Gorgonzola in tomato rose cream sauce ($34)

Pretty ordinary tortellinis, the combination of tomato sauce and tortellinis did not quite work either. I suppose it works better with cream based sauces.

Perhaps we should have attempted their pizzas or mains for a better judge of the capabilities of the restaurant. However based on pastas, I was not half impressed.
