Thye Moh Chan is the new hip pastry shop for wedding pastries and the likes of tau sar piah. The acquisition by BreadTalk Group was indeed a wise move - noob me knew nothing about them before that.
I hope this does not morph into an addiction but I find their stall so pretty and their offerings hard to resist - well not quite bite-sized per se but a decent portion for tea!
Assorted Nuts Lotus
An unconventional flavour by incorporating mix nuts into it - I found it a tad sweet and reminded me of mooncake somehow.
Traditional Sweet Tau Sar Piah
Only for the traditionalists, flaky, powdery and wholesome all at once. My favourite is tied with their Yuan Yang version.
Tradition preserved - Thye Moh Chan looks set for a longer journey ahead.
