If Bloomberg had the dream pantry, I would liken IKEA's food court to a dream one. I've never had a bad meal there, mediocre at best. They are welcoming this festive season with a menu to match!

Salmon Sashimi with ($5.90)
Pleasantly surprised that sahimi in such chunks actually taste good - paired with a refreshing shrimp salad too!

Salmon Chowder ($3)
Loved the salmon bits in the creamy chowder, though not as heavy as a chowder is yet this was a delightful one. Garlic bread slices go for $1.50 each.

Poached Salmon ($7.90)
A decent portion of poached salmon with a vegetable potato patty to match, not the best tasting mains from the kitchen though.

Turkey Shank ($9.90)
Herald in Christmas with the cheapest turkey part in town! Portions are huge enough to satisfy the carnivore in me and best part, it was done so well. Firm meaty chunks. It got me wondering what happened to the rest of the turkey since they only took the shank!

Swedish Meatballs ($8)
What's an IKEA meal without swedish meatballs and cranberry sauce. Consistently yummy though some may think that they have seen better days.
Chicken Wings ($2.80)
How can I miss out on these chicken wings too? Pricey at $1.40 each but these juicy babies are simply too irresistible.
Drop by IKEA this Christmas to stock up on festive delights and indulge in a pocket friendly festive meal.
