Awesome pies deserve a return. And we did for three more times.
Banana Almond Brittle
Sweet banana mousse, salty caramel and crunchy nuts
I expected whole or at least sliced bananas in this but the banana mousse was too light to discern. Crunchy nut brittle were the bomb for this, thanks to their generous scattering of these candy rocks, eating this was joy.

Salted Caramel Chocolate
Both salted caramel and chocolate melded to form a lovely harmony without being cloying. Decadent not rich, perfect with coffee.
Smores ($8.50)
Gooey milk chocolate pudding and sticky dark chocolate fudge, topped with fluffy toasted marshmallows and our home-made graham crackers
I've not tried Smores before but this set the benchmark for a good campfire dessert. Brilliant use of marshmellows and homemade graham crackers to negate the sweetness of the pudding and chocolate fudge. Decadence is the key to chase away weekday blues!
Grasshopper ($7)
Chocolate flourless cake base topped with a crazy fresh mint cream
Inspired by a certain cocktail, this was pretty much mousse-y. Not a huge fan of this though the mint cream was delicious and the chocolate crumbs scattered an addiction.
Lemon Strawberry
Lemon and strawberry do complement each other quite well with the zesty lemon curd and rolls of strawberry paste carefully embedded to ensure every bite had both flavours in it! Loved the squirt of torched meringue cream that balanced sweet and sour so well! Indeed, a summer surprise.

Blueberry
The latest on the menu, I have to say I am so loving this flavour! Blueberries unlike cherries are friendlier with a sweeter less tart finish. Sugar encrusted tart reminded me of those sugar encrusted danish selections somehow.

Funny Apple
Almond custard, rum-soaked raisins
It would be weirder than weird if apple pie was not part of the repertoire. The pie unlike the rest is filled with apples and custard which gives a cakey texture to the filling.

Always scraping our trays clean, delicious guaranteed.

Each visit gets me enthralled with this cabinet.

Spot the lost deer in the woods!
Choice of tarts is crucial hence the need for a sour based tart to negate the sweetness of others. I found myself craving for coconut lime vodka. It is no brainer that Windowsill Pies has a serious thing going on - they do decent pies and this falls in my category of favourite! Favourite dessert place now, let's see how more chronic I can get with regular visits made already.
