Buffet breakfast was included in our package and I even made plans to check both Cafe Swiss and Kopitiam out before deciding where to have breakfast.

Turning up for breakfast and having to queue is the greatest cardinal sin, ever. For both outlets Kopitiam and Cafe Swiss queues were neverending despite having the same spread - I wish I headed just right up to the Executive Lounge for no queue but lesser variety.
Strangely, the queue for Kopitiam was way shorter and we got a table soon enough!

Enough antioxidants to keep the doctors at bay!

I even spotted honey comb!

The full american spread that got the queues stagnant for quite awhile.

The limited indian corner that had a reasonable spread.
Bits and bobs of the muesli corner - I tried majority of the cereal in a bowl just to get the engine moving.

Going all british with beef and pork sausages, creamed corn spinach and bacon! I wish there were mash to complete the whole meal yet these were already a hearty start. A little disappointed with the corn spinach that was mostly bland.
Only the fried chicken drumlet was getting all the attention and yes, delicious fried chicken to start the day!

Salmon gravlax, cold cuts and cheeses are a must for me everytime I see them at the buffet table.

A live eggs station was another cause for queues - poached, fried, omelette and hard boiled they try to accommodate all requests.
If only their poached eggs came with hollandaise sauce too, would have been perfect!

I marvelled at a corner completely catered for those with a sweet tooth like me - mini pancakes, waffles and french toast!
The pancakes albeit cute were also fluffy - amazing for pancakes that morsel sized!
Indian cuisines always enthralls me and I made an attempt on a selection of curries, rice pudding and what looks like a thick prata - a pity that only the chickpea curry was delicious.
Breakfast is hearty and a good start to the day - not the best of all hotel breakfasts in terms of quality, neither are the queues the most pleasant but it is decent spread and service is quick. I would have expected a local corner at least since this was a local kopitiam by lunch and dinner.
I'm hemming over a return to kopitiam for their local delights though reviews have been rather meh.
