Szechuan Kitchen is the casual spin off from Szechuan Court. Their dimsum brunch is purportedly famous so I was game enough to attempt their dimsum for dinner despite it being way past the usual dimsum brunch hours.
Cosy corner.
I like starring at the counters and watching chefs cook, especially chinese ones.
Regular szechuan court appetizers.
Siewmai ($7.80)
Rice Roll ($6.80)
To second the suspicions, these were hardly smooth
nor silken but on par with the breakfast chee cheong fun that I’d get at
a hawker center.
BBQ Pork Pastry ($5.80)
Chicken Noodle ($8)
Highly recommended by the server and for once I was
grateful for it – proving to be the best dish of the night. Though just
blanched and doused in minced meat sauce, it was served piping hot and
was really appetizing even though the noodles
were a tad too soft.
Once again disappointed by Szechuan Court. At this
rate, their ala carte is tons better but definitely top of mind recall
when it comes to having Szechuan food.
