Hidden along Pasir Panjang Road, Bistro 103 stands out for being the only European eatery along the stretch of Malay and Chinese food.
A fuss free bistro infact sparsely furnished with furniture and corners of Europe - photos, paintings and ornaments.
Salt and Pepper Squid
The companion seemed to enjoy this - wiped it all off.
Kurobuta Pork Neck Steak ($29.90)
Caramelized Onion Jam, Chips, Salad
Recommended over Crispy Duck Leg and declared a signature, kurobuta and pork neck seemed to bring on piggy dreams - tender succulent cut. Yet, it was slightly tough - overcooked perhaps? At some part seemingly tender but this comes to a screeching halt by the time I made it to the other end. Onion jam clearly straight off a jar and chips overfried. Somewhat disappointed, unfortunately.
ABK6 Cognac Braised Beef Short Ribs ($27.90)
Farmer's Vegetables and Mash
Beef short ribs fared a whole lot better with the spices and just the right temperature of braising - lovely firm ribs. Cognac was barely discernible but this is one wholesome stew. Bread to mop up the gravy perhaps?
Diners streamed in quite readily for this hangout - I was half tempted by their lemon meringue pie icecream...perhaps next time.

It's so cute that the dining area looks like a HDB living room!
