Luk Yu Teahouse @ Food Opera

Luk Yu in Hongkong left a lasting impression and when a similar outfit opened at Food Opera I was half tempted. Until recently, I decided to give it a go to satisfy the ever present molten egg yolk custard pau craving.

Lovely shade of green - would pass off as a pandan molten custard pau actually! No matter how much coaxing, that was all I could get from molten. None too spectacular.

I ran out of words to describe how disappointed I am, should have seen it coming though. No linkage to the Hongkong outlet - a galaxy away in terms of quality.

    For dim sum, I personally like Rui Chun (Swee Chun) at Jalan Besar near Syed Alwi Road. I hope you can try it out and like to hear your comments (:
