Did a dinner takeaway out of convenience one night. I like ayam penyet because it's like homecooked KFC - still as guilty but tastier. Plus, it comes with rice, crackers and a drink!

Hearty meal though the chicken was a tad dry, not sure if it's a result of over frying. Loved the crumbs for the added crunch. Comes with fried beancurd and cucumbers too.

Eat them quick or risk soggy ones.

Belittle this not, never thought lime and cucumber go so well together! Loved cucumber puree - soooo refreshing!
Conclusion? Ayam Penyet is best eaten on premise and not doggiepacked. For a better deal, head to Lucky Plaza.
