The gfs and I landed at Meatworks entirely out of convenience, bearing in mind the snaking queues at Marmalade Pantry (not that I would attempt it after the few disappointments) and TWG and possibly any other eating establishment in Ion.

Table decor.

Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich ($24)
Riverland grass-fed, 150g, saute onions, mushrooms and gran potato, served with steak fries
Adam Richman made philly cheese steak sandwich such a holy grail..enough for me to keep a watch out for it. Buttered toasted foccacia...mega yums despite the sin. The disappointment seeped in with every bite of the pile of ingredients - hardened mozzarella cheese that fused the beef slices and caramelised onions together. Not my idea of an awesome-mouthwatering-todiefor sandwich. Pretty ordinary if you ask me.
The rest of the table fillers that I did not have the chance to try but these were cleaned out, if any consolation.

Baked Silver Cod ($30)

Grilled Salmon ($24)
Service was alright and child friendly yet...I would not head for a return so soon. Perhaps just stick to their steaks, pun unintended.
