This was one of those stops made in Wurzburg because it looked quaint and yet another pretzel could not hurt. The only pretzel shop that had an English speaking owner! She stayed in US for awhile hence the fluent English.

Rhubarb Strussel Bread
Rhubarb is more popular in the West than locally and is used largely in desserts...especially so in Germany. Rhubarbs look like celery with medicinal properties. Rhubarb was not too obvious here, ordinary I found it inspite of the strussel crumbs that I usually find hard to resist.
Pretzel
Nothing that blew my socks off, just one huge pretzel it was.
We even found time to humour the fat pigeons with a treat!

when we were in gold coast, my family bought a pack of popcorn and it tasted horrid. so we fed it to the seagulls!
