Changi Airport boasts of at least 3 outlets that offer kaya toast and teh-see..off the record, I can think of Killiney, Ya Kun and Wang battling for the nostalic locals or curious travellers.
Chicken Horfun ($4.90)
Simply blanched hor fun with gravy poured over it. Sounds boring? Tasted worse than that. Not too sure if our local favourites like Chicken Rice or Laksa would fare better but, it was jaw-dropping bad. Hygiene standards are hugely questionable with the same auntie chopping her chicken, blanching noodles and also, boiling her laksa gravy.
Butter Kaya Toast ($1.60)
I was looking forward to a thick slab of butter sitting pretty an equally thick layer of kaya. Toasty it was but it was buttered way too thin.
