So many times I've been stopped in the tracks and enticed by the little packages of Japanese snacks. Bless the Japanese and their ingenious ways of converting fans overseas. Enthralled, I would make a few turns in the store to oogle and drool. They reminded me of Ichido's in Shanghai.
Sakusaku Sand Citrus Depressa Cream
Sakusaku Sand Black Sugar Cream
Three to a box. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me when I opened the box. The biscuits had a certain staleness and "packaged" taste about it, perhaps the oil that found it way through the biscuit. These Okinawa biscuits were crumbly not crunchy, the buttercream was flat. Of the two, I prefered the black sugar that had a more natural taste.

ReplyDeleteOn Sales 12%, I bought 15 boxes of mochi's for New Year Gifts.
I picked all the boxes with expired-date not least than March 2011.
I gave the boxes to the staff to put in cashier while I were choosing other items.
WHen I was home,
7 of the boxes were changed without my knowledge, the expired date become: 23-01-2011.
Most of the staff already know me, since i am a regular customer. I always buy any gift from this store since 2 years ago.
And I dont believe it, they do this to the regular customer.
Maybe, they think I am a tourist since I always bring my Indonesian's friends to this store for buying a gift from overseas.
It is really ruins my plan for chinese new year.
Beware of this store.....
Oh dear..I believe you're talking about 18 Jan 2011? Sigh, someone should teach these retailers about business ethics.
