The colleague literally squealed in delight when she chanced upon Thai Ruk once again, declaring it the "best jellies". A strange connection for a thai place especially, when I thought it would be tom yum goong or even pad thai. Peer over a chiller full of colourful jellies, I had a hard time deciding what to get.

Coconut
Rainbow
Kaya
At 90 cents per piece, these are relatively cheap as compared to those found at fruit stalls. My personal favourite goes to coconut for its refreshing taste and shreds of coconut flesh. Kaya was a tad milky and coarse in texture while rainbow, befitting of its name had myraid of flavours.
Not quite the best jellies ever but they were a nice chance upon.
