In UK, the olden cab drivers used to tuck into fish and chips.
In Singapore, they used to tuck into Rickshaw noodles.
Fastforward 40 years, it's a novelty. Anything linked to the past somehow is.
After a good 20 minutes in the queue, a bowl of Rickshaw noodle. Thin strands of mee sua swimming in a soup with slightly thick consistency, makes slurping up easy...in fact I was drinking from the bowl. Chicken slices are so fine, they were far and few. My main grouse, it was one heavy MSG noodle soup.
For 70 cents, what can you ask for?
