Durian Tarts and Chempedak Tarts are irregular offerings at Opus Deli. The gf left her number with them so that they'd call us as and when they whimsically decided to bake either.

Chempedak Tart ($2.20)
They're differentiated from the apple crumbles by the cranberry bits on top. I tasted them both warm and cold; yes, it tastes different.

When warm, the tart's more crumbly, nary the crunchy biscuit base that the apple crumble had previously. The taste and fragrance of the chempedak filling overwhelms, so the tart base and crumble top is pretty much bland. I was disappointed that the chempedak filling isn't pure chempedak pulp, more of a floury, pasty filling which uncannily tasted like it was mixed with pumpkin.
When eaten cold, the chempedak filling and tart were just alright, no surprises here.
Mixed reviews from the colleagues who piggybacked their orders too.
I'll stick with their hot seller Apple crumbles.
