I chanced upon this stall because my usual stall's closed for renovation. What was initially thought to be another Yong Tau Foo stall turned out to be a hotseller. Queues are actually very long because you're given tag numbers and customers return much later to claim their orders. I waited a good 20 minutes for mine to be cooked and the gf finished 2 glasses of grass jelly in between!

The range of yong tau foo available isn't wide, the standard fried and non-fried items. Each comes in a bowl of yellow bean soup sprinkled with anchovies. 40 cents a piece, min $2. I wish I ordered more, the 5 pieces weren't enough!

The magic of this stall lies in the soup and chilli. The soup's very light and tasty, no trace of MSG. I lapped it all up! The chilli albeit friendly looking packs a punch, very "traditional" taste and fires a bomb. I couldn't help but dip everything in it.
Now, I get all the accolades and long queues BUT I'm one satisfied customer!
A testimony of its popularity? It closes its shutters at 230pm.
