This ad in the papers caught by eye at the very beginning of this promo but I was complaining to my Mom about their "smart" tactics, the cakes only went on sale at selected outlets and selected days. Lucky me happened to be in the vicinity so...how can I give up on such deals?

The oreo cheesecake I managed to lay my hands on! Lugging it back's no joke, worrying about it melting on me, I felt it travel from one end of the box to another when I ran after the bus! Phew when it was still in tact, nary a dent.
Totally mismatched with the china porcelain plate but the slice of the cheesy goodness! I'm a self-confessed cheesecake lover and Secret Recipe does mean cheesecakes! The cheese isn't cloying, more like thick marshmellows I was eating and finely crushed oreo cookies. I had the fine pleasure of having oreo cookies with the cake. Double treat! Bits of oreo cookie could be found in the cake, exactly like a treasure hunt. :)
