Chanced upon this yummy confectionary otherwise known as biscuit curls at Marks & Spencers quite awhile ago. Marks & Spencers, previously known as St Michaels holds fond childhood memories for me. I remember those days where Haribo gummy bears were unheard of, only St Michael's gummies, fruit gums and liqourice sticks...
The biscuit curls come in the normal butter ones or chocolate coated ones in plastic tins. It is a major addiction, not too buttery in taste, not too sweet, somewhat crunchy...makes perfect a lazy afternoon complete with a hot cup of Chamomile tea. That spells bliss.
Recently saw the "imitation" version at Carrefour called "cigarettes"...I was tempted by the cheap prices and greedily lugged two boxes home only to be badly disappointed. :/ Cigarettes is in my opinion, a lousy imitation...far from my faves.
Well..what they say about "you pay for quality"...that just sums it up!
