~Invited Session~
This August to September, Crossroads Cafe at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel is featuring 4 of their Best of Baby Back Ribs specialties. Expect plenty of drool worthy snaps as Chef takes us around the world quite literally with his selection of barbecued goodness - think Jack Daniel's, Black Pepper, Balsamic and Rosemary as well as Hoi Sin and Ginger.
All Baby Back Ribs are served with corn on cob and coleslaw and priced at $38++ each.
Jack Daniel’s Barbecued Baby Back Ribs
This is a favourite of the four, the lipsmacking spice blend and fork tender ribs with Jack Daniel infused barbecue sauce. All the dry rubbing did this rack some good, I found it richest in flavour of the four.
Black Pepper Barbecued Baby Back Ribs
The black pepper ribs ranked a close second with a lovely crackle and aroma.
Balsamic and Rosemary Barbecued Baby Back Ribs
Hoi Sin and Ginger Barbecued Baby Back Ribs
These two flavours will find fans in diners who prefer their ribs sweet. The Hoi Sin and Ginger ribs spotted a delicious shade of red, which Chef explained was from the ketchup used. Otherwise, rosemary was exceptionally aromatic with the bunches of rosemary used.
Here's a tip about the ribs, the next best thing on that platter is the charred corn, buttery, sweet and just so tasty!
Not forgetting their pretty in pink mocktails, I had their Strawberry Basil Lemonade to quench my thirst this hot weather!
