Rainbow cakes may seem like a 2015 fad but it spilled over into 2016 in the form of a rainbow chiffon - possibly the first of its kind without any competition. Who can get sick of such a cheerful looking cake anyway?
I am pleasantly surprised the neighbourhood bakeries failed to catch on this one.
At $6.90, this had to be the cheapest rainbow dessert around.
Sponge was a tad soggy at the bottom - a sign that these are probably not given enough time to cool down before being packed. While it smelt too heavy on coconut, this was alot lighter than it smelt - how the nose confuses!
Another cake worth looking forward to at Polar!
