Inspired by Japanese principles and a healthy-food philosophy, Hakubaku sources and uses only the best-quality, organic Australian wheat to manufacture its noodles. Healthy eating just got easier!

Amongst all the variations in the market, Australian wheat is superior in attributes such as white seed coat, cleanliness, low-moisture content, excellent protein and production of high-yielding flour. The noodles are then produced using a patented method characterised by high temperatures and short-time drying. Used only by Hakubaku, this winning method lends the noodles their firm, smooth and bouncy texture. This commitment is Hakubaku’s secret recipe to becoming the top brand in countries like Japan, USA and Australia.

Hakubaku offers five selections of noodles: Ramen, Soba, Cha Soba, Somen and Udon. Its products have received both Halal and kosher certifications, so consumers from all walks of life can enjoy them.

Udon

Hakubaku’s thick, soft and chewy udon can be added to hotpot or Japanese curry to create a comforting dish.

I opted to have mine topped with minced pork and scallions, reprising the chinese classic of Zha Jiang Mian.

Ramen

Originally introduced in China circa late 19th century, ramen are Chinese-style noodles prepared in chicken or pork broth with various toppings such as sliced pork, seaweed, kamaboko, scallions and even corn. Japan has adopted the popular ramen as its own and modified it over time to cater to the Japanese palate.
