Sand Bank Bistro @ East Coast Parkway

DSC_0131

Parkland Green is a new establishment within East Coast Parkway that offers a range of dining and chilling options to both families and couples. Families seemed to be the focus of the place since the park was just near by and possibly our best renditions of sandy beaches, blue waters and gusty winds.

We picked Sand Bank because it was one of the more crowded restaurants along the entire stretch. Crowds at Sand Bank existed in the form of families with squealing kids - and then, we realised why. The restaurant has a mini pool for the children to frolick in, which is not such a bad idea afterall.

SandBank Beef Burger ($23)

DSC_0129

I originally had designs on their Fried Oyster Sandwich that coincidentally got sold out and I made do with their signature beef burger. Served medium, the patty was bland and a letdown overall.

Parma Pizza ($26)

Handmade over the counter with a woodfire oven to match the theatrics but that was truly all that there was in the average tasting pizza. Inconsistencies in flavouring made it a sorry case.

I wish there were good things apart from the really warm and attentive service that warrants a return.
