A pity that the sugar shells crumbled too easily and were just too sweet.

A much better choice, I loved the flaky layers, milky custard and berries that made this one of the better millefeuilles around.
Passion by Gerard Dubois - checked. I am not hung up about their service or experience there though, one largely frequented by foreigners in the chichi area.
