Ranked high on Tripadvisor and awarded the certificate of excellence for 2013, my expectations were high. Considered near Nana Station, it is 4 streets away from the Mall which can be a daunting walk with a luggage but otherwise, it was an decent walk.
Dome-like structures in the lobby.
The somewhat space like walkway down the corridor to our hotel room.
With the moodlights on, a cheap thought surfaces - looks quite like a cheap love motel.
With the normal lighting, it actually looks better.
Dream amenities.
If you are wondering if the roses were placed there as part of our "honeymoon perks" - no unfortunately. All we got were some fruits and something special.
Butter cookies that were replenished daily.
And a wedding cake - their way of saying congratulations. Moist and fluffy, the only problem we had was fighting to get a bigger share of the cake!
The moscato we lugged along for a bubbly night - when the hotel does not provide, self prep it! This was quite unlike the other sweet ones, tasted more of white wine.
Breakfast was at Flava Restaurant on the 2nd floor.
The sprawling leopard became a talking point as we entered the restaurant.
A long table with the breakfast spread all laid out.
I tend to crave cereals when I am overseas. I thought the milk was a tad thin.
Everyone loves a live egg station and so did we. I made an attempt on their omelette with peppers. Just pretty and that was it.
The easy to please sunny side up.
Omelette too.
The cold cuts selection was a dismal one and cheese, straight off the cheese packs. Sushi was surprisingly very decent.
Our daily greens.
Bacon, eggs and sausages maketh the all american breakfast.
This reminded me of chye tow kuay to some extent.
I proceeded straight for desserts to ease the dissatisfaction from the breakfast spread. Both were decently yummy.
Their tuktuk service which we hardly too since it would be way faster to walk than jam through the sois.
It was hardly a dream as the raving reviews have pointed it out to be.
