I suppose being in a vicinity that does not have very many dessert options also means that we make do with the available to silence the sweet tooth craving.
Chocolate Mille Crepe ($9)
Lady M probably set the bar and seeing a mille crepe ignited the most natural reaction - I want! While the texture of the crepe was lovely, the whipped chocolate cream and cocoa powder rendered this a more bitter than sweet dessert - hard to stomach. I never had a bad dessert from Awfully Chocolate but this is one of those.
Lemon Yogurt Cake ($9)
Unicorns, ponies and rainbows kind of better. Zesty lemon frosting with teacake layers.
Chocolate Tart
Loved the velvety finish of this indulgent treat - best part is it's not so cloying sweet.
Signatures are so for a reason, stick with their hei icecreams and fudge cakes.
