Home's Favourite is a hot favourite during CNY and recently Mid-Autumn, for bringing durian to the masses in an affordable way. The first encounter with it was for its charcoal durian mooncakes and cookies that I frowned upon so gravely.
Apart from their occasional appearances at food fairs, they have a permanent booth at Vivocity basement that retails cookies, mochi and freshly made durian pancakes.

The lovely option of having half in each flavour.

The ominouos looking black with gold dust is the highly revered mochi with Mao Shan Wang filling whilst the friendlier cream coloured is the widely accepted D24.

A peek into their innards.

D24 ($8.80, 6 pcs)
Creamier and sweeter, meant for the less daring palette.
Mao Shan Wang ($9.80, 6 pcs)
Richer in taste and pulpier, the durian fans all favoured this. My main grouse about this dessert is the mochi skin that could be softer and less pasty.
A different kind of giveaway, worth a try!
