Noob is me not being aware that there is a dining level at Marina Bay Sands Casino. No photography is allowed of the gambling floor - in all its opulence, I must say it is extravagant. For the first time, I spotted Waku Ghin and Hide Yamamoto on the same floor, well better late than never!
Imperial Treasure was hardly filled when we stepped in minutes shy of 12 noon. We were not the first to arrive either.
Candied cashews to kickstart the meal, I always favour sweet over savoury somehow.
Char Siew Pau ($4.20)
Fluffy delicious things these are, always a dimsum staple and I always wish there is more space to accomodate more than one.
Prawn Dumpling ($5.50)
Never take a har gao for granted, wafer thin translucent skin with fresh prawns albeit seems easy is the hardest to please. I liked it enough to welcome seconds.
Sharks Fin Dumpling ($8)
Two in one, a large seafood dumpling in a hearty broth. I could be full just having portions of this.

Fried Prawn in Beancurd Skin ($5)
Deepfried to such crisp, it was hardly oily and plumped with prawns. Loved the dash of vinegar that made all the difference.
Fried Carrot Cake in X.O. Sauce ($12)
Word of advise to eat it whilst its hot. These crispy wok fried cubes are best eaten hot otherwise, face a soggy lukewarm dish.
Rice Roll with Shrimp and Fritter ($7)
Their newest addition to the rice roll series. Smooth rice roll wrapped around a fritter base and prawns. A wonderful creation in my opinion, marries dough stick with prawns in one and saves it soaking up the gravy too much!
Yam Croquette ($4.50)
Irresistible yam dimsum.

Hashima
A tad too sweet.
Black Sesame Dumplings rolled in Sesame
Chewy glutinous rice balls with a fragrant black sesame filling. Easy to eat in its bite-sized portions.

Molten Custard Egg Yolk Bun
Decadence is eating one and reaching for another almost immediately. Who cares about staining my fingers with the greasy yolk and gritty salted egg yolk. Tops the list for delish, toppling Crystal Jade's carrot flavoured custard egg yolk bun!
An experience that exceeded expectations and definitely set the bar for dimsum meals. Imperial Treasure is one of those restaurants not part of a Hotel that actually wows, next to Sichuan Dou Hua. I cannot wait for more visits!
