Rebranded as Nine Thirty, Mooshi Bakes has been taken over and now the menu is wider than ever – tossing in salad and stews.
Layout of Mooshi Bakes retained.
Festive touches!
Wild Mushroom Soup ($7.90)
Shitake, white button, Portobello, caramelised onions, garlic croutons
Slightly earthy, the mushrooms were blended into a smooth broth. Croutons gave this a crunchy texture.
Truffle Fries
The portions are way too generous yet truffle was
soon gone, leaving ordinary fries. The odd thing is they do not serve
ketchup despite their insistence that they do.
Croque Madame
No fan of their brioche, the ham, cheese and fried egg were decent though.
Yellow Curry and Spiced Prawn Linguine ($19)
A very asian interpretation of an Italian dish.
Lemon grass made it very thai. Loved the flavours and fresh prawns but
the rest did not seem to enjoy it as much. One acquired dish.
Stack O’ Pancakes ($15)
House pancakes, sweet fruit syrup, fresh cinnamon cream
Four large pancakes with a bite. Dense enough to mop up honey and not turn soggy. Love for this.
Americano ($5)
There is a reason why this is a dessert and food place than drinks.
A stone's throw away from home and decent! It's staying on the revisit list.
