Much has been said about Covelli and I honestly do not know much about the place apart from its Italian roots and being located at Orchard Central. The more interesting bit about Covelli is, a ladies’ fashion boutique, a VIP room (also known as The Grappa Room) and a classy wine ba there is a boutique and bar under the same group and are within meters of each other.

Complimentary garlic bread that were served with the burnt sides. Delicious but presentation could have been more cautious!

Organic Beef ($24)
The waiter recommended beef over pork on this. A deconstructed burger
it was with filo pastry strips in replacement of burger buns –
innovative yes, but it was hardly successful in replacing the
satisfaction derived from the burger. Nonetheless,
the patty was decently flavoured and came without fillers.
Portions were a tad small, pink and tender with a nice sear. Just forgettable though.
Covelli surprised me, I was probably expecting an average experience but this exceeded that.
