Choupinette is located next to Coronation Plaza and
is terribly cosy – small place and a waitlist is inevitable. The place
was understandably packed for a weekend but I was thankful the wait
barely lasted longer than 20 minutes.
Menu!
The cosy cafe.
The brunch items are sold in sets and come with
coffee/tea and juice. Clearly, fresh of the pack but would have been
better if they were freshly squeezed.
Eggs Benedict ($22)
These came with finely shaved ham and two poached
eggs on toast.
To be fair, eggs were runny and toast delicious but the
hollandaise was a tad sour. Still prefer Group Therapy’s underrated
poached eggs on toast!
Egg Royale ($23)
The smoked salmon was probably slightly better than ham for this.
Coffee was average but tea was decent!
Clipper Tea I was told is pretty good.
I wish I had more space for their baked items which were selling like hotcakes.
