They specialise in Teochew Fish Porridge and Seafood soup. From $3.50, each bowl is filled with seaweed, bittergourd slices, lettuce, fishballs, fish slices, scallop cakes and a fresh prawn. I thought it was ordinary at best, not worth the wait.

I love Minjiang Kuehs and when the companions let slip of a particular stall at Pek Kio Market, I was thrilled. Pancakes go for $0.60 each, reservations only possible if you are longtime patron of the auntie. They have two versions available - original and crispy.
For those who want a taste of both, request for the edges. These are significantly slimmer than Jollibean's, in fact half in height! Yet, the density of the kueh is not compromised.What is double love is the generous peanut stuffing that is almost with a texture of peanut shavings and mildly sweetened. I cannot decide if I like the original or crispy better. The crispy biscuit reminds me of a thicker version of loveletters.
