Years back when Chewy Junior first opened their flagship store in Tanjong Pagar, I thought they may not make it - amidst the bubble fads of J and Co, Munchy Donuts and the hoolawoolabang of the rest of the donut craze. I deemed them a tad too limp and small in terms of size though seemingly different - given the chewy texture as compared to the fried hotsellers. Success seems to have followed hot on its footsteps after closing Tanjong Pagar's branch - at least for Raffles City's it was bustling with activity.
What I disliked was the blotchy service over the counter - complete with a sour face and a clear preference for foreigners over locals, the server was irksome.

Butterscotch Crunch
The cornflakes lost its crunch from being exposed.
Double Chocolate Crunch
Filled with scrumptious chocolate cream and topped with chocolate beans, the chocoaddict was satisfied.
Chilli Crab Chewy
The order was meant for Ham and Potato but was given chilli crab instead. Seems to have taken the signal from Subway with chilli crab - this was just crab meat in savoury gravy...just alright at best.
Lemon Pie Crunch
Mildly flavoured lemon swirl, missing out on the zesty punch.
Apple Cheese
Nice combination of apple pie fillings and cream cheese filling.
Strawberry Cheesecake
Like apple cheese, this was quite good.
Donuts were generally delish with the generous squirt of custard but the consistency of donut seemed to vary with various flavours. Some seemd a tad dry whilst others seemed fresh and moist.
